    I will be taking my 2 year old on her first vacation later this year. Am I able to get transfers from the cruise ship to the airport and take shuttles from the boat to towns without a car seat? How does this work?

    Ahoy, Virginia!

    You and your little one are in for a very special first vacation aboard Disney Cruise Line! The crew, cast and characters can't wait to welcome you aboard and make sure you have the most magical time at sea! My son was a toddler on our first cruise, and I can still picture him toddling around the ship, enjoying a messy ice cream on deck and grinning from ear to ear with his favorite Disney pal, Donald Duck. I know you can't wait to make some precious memories with your sailor this year!

    Disney Cruise Line does offer the option to purchase ground transportation in all its departure ports. Prices vary depending on your departure port with one-way or round-trip vouchers available. The motor coach buses do not support car seats so if you bring one, it will be placed underneath the bus and will need to be stored in your stateroom during your cruise. The shuttles and buses in the ports of call do not support car seats either, so you will not need them when you venture ashore. If you are interested in adding ground transportation to your cruise reservation, you can call Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 up to three days prior to your cruise departure.
