Hi! We are taking our 3 year old on her first Disney vacation this month. What are the restrictions and recommendations for bags to carry all of our things? I've seen many different suggestions. Thanks!

    Hello, Andrea!

You must be getting so excited about your daughter's first Walt Disney World vacation this month! There's something so special about watching children experience the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort for the first time, and I'm sure you will make many magical memories together when you visit.

At this time, all bags or backpacks must be no larger than 24" (61 cm) long x 15" (38 cm) wide x 18" (46 cm) high. If you feel like your bag may fall on the large side of these measurements, you may want to consider doing a quick check. You can see a great list of restricted personal items on the Walt Disney World website to help you prepare for your vacation.

I hope you and your family have a magical first visit to Walt Disney World, Andrea! If you have any other questions before your trip, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel. Happy planning!
