    I am taking my 6 year old Daughter to WDW 10/02. trying to choose between a moderate resort or a Downtown Disney hotel. Will be using WDW transportation, so I want to stay where it will be most convenient as well as give my daighter an awesome experience

    Hi Melissa! I absolutely love our mother daughter trips to Disney World, and am sure you will too. I highly recommend the beautiful Port Orleans French Quarter for your stay. This moderate resort  is modeled after New Orleans'  French Quarter and is beautifully themed. Set on the Sassagoula River, the setting is gorgeous, and the pool has a super fun slide she's sure to love. One of my favourite features of this resort is that you can take a relaxing boat ride to Downtown Disney. If you choose this resort, be sure to try the yummy beignets!
