We are taking my 2 year old to a character dining experience. I added her to the reservation but i don’t have to pay for her meal, correct? We’ll be at Akershus.

    Hi Krissy,

You are a Disney-planning pro! You're exactly right that you'll want to include your princess in your party as far as any dining reservations go, but that she'll be able to dine at no extra charge throughout your vacation.

All Guests under three years of age receive complimentary admission into the theme parks and are entitled to enjoy any buffet or all-you-care-to-enjoy food items at no charge. Your little one will also be able to share any of your food, but if you ever do decide to order her something, be it her own plate of food or a specialty beverage, there will be a charge for that. We've always found the servings to be so generous, however, that we have never had an issue sharing our plates with our little ones.

You're going to LOVE Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall! Not only is the food delicious, but the setting is gorgeous and the interaction with the princesses is priceless. I will NEVER forget my little one squealing with excitement when she saw Princess Aurora appear. She was wearing her own Princess Aurora dress and I guarantee you that ALL her Disney dreams came true that day. I hope that your princess has just as magical of a time!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Krissy, and please come back and see us again if we can help with anything else as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
