Taking my 2- year old for her birthday. Will I need proof that she is only 2? We only have her birth certificate and I would rather not take such an important document on a vacation like this.

    Hi Christina,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You will not need your daughter’s birth certificate or other proof of her age. You may be asked her date of birth if you purchase theme park tickets at the parks, but I'm sure the Cast Member will be able to tell she is younger than three. If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, be sure to ask the front desk for a complimentary Celebration button. Your daughter can get a Happy Birthday button to wear proudly. You can also pick Celebration buttons up from City Hall in Magic Kingdom Park or at Guest Relations, located in all four theme parks. I hope your daughter's birthday is extra magical! Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions about planning your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a magical day,
