Hello, Stacy!
World Showcase has a lot to offer, and I'm sure you will discover many delicious treats and interesting cultural icons as you set out to explore this December. As you stroll through World Showcase, take the time to really enjoy the beautiful architecture, galleries and culinary offerings of each country represented. My family and I like to snack our way around the world, and with 2 tween-aged boys, I'm sure you will be stopping often for snacks! Some of our favorite places to pick up a quick treat are in Mexico, Italy and France, and when we start our adventure on the Mexico side, these are all perfectly-timed places to stop and take a short break, as well.
Most of the pavilions also offer short films or galleries to explore. The
Bijutsu-kan Gallery in Japan could be very interesting for your boys, as it gives them the opportunity to learn about the Japanese cultural connection to anime.
The American Adventure is a 30-minute stage show that presents the history of our great country through the use of 35 Audio-Animatronics figures. If your boys have taken an interest in American history, then this inspiring attraction should be at the top of your must-see list.
Your boys are also the perfect age to enjoy the
Disney Phineas and Ferb: Agent P's World Showcase Adventure. This interactive quest will have the whole family working together to thwart the evil plans of Dr. Doofenshmirtz. Stop by a recruitment center at Odyssey Bridge, Norway Pavilion, Italy Pavilion or near the International Gateway to sign up for this adventure.
I hope you and your boys have a wonderful time exploring Epcot's World Showcase, Stacy! If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel. We would love to hEAR from you!
