Hi Karen! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask another wonderful question about your upcoming adventure at Walt Disney World. It's my pleasure to be able to help you out today.
Karen, I am so happy you've decided to make
Memory Maker part of your vacation plans. My family loves Memory Maker as it allows all of us to be in the photos as opposed to one of us taking the picture. I usually end up with hundreds of pictures by the time I start downloading. Be sure to ask the Disney PhotoPass Photographers to capture some Magic Shots, these cute shots will be adorable surprises for you when you start looking at your memories. Select attraction photos and videos will also be available so look out for those cameras as you splash into the Briar Patch on
Splash Mountain, or Soar into space on
Space Mountain.
Karen, Disney PhotoPass photographs are valid in your account for 45 days from the time they were taken at Walt Disney World. The Memory Maker you have purchased will not be considered "used" or "valid" until you download your first picture on your
My Disney Experience mobile app or on the
Disney PhotoPass site. Once you download the first picture you will have 30 days to keep downloading until that
Memory Maker usage window expires. So if you are taking two trips, make sure you don't start downloading your photos until after the second trip is finished.
I hope this has helped. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. It's always so fun to help out a fellow Guest.
Dream as Dreamers Do,
Jen
