Taking my 1st trip to WDW as vegan 9/1. Found great info & contacted special diets email, but wondering specifically abt Capt Cooks. My mom wants to go there & I know it will stress her if I can't find something. Do most QS have allergy menus?

    Hello, Elizabeth!

I have always found that when it comes to special dietary needsWalt Disney World really does an exceptional job accommodating guests who follow a specific diet, whether by need or by choice. I'm glad you've gotten some good information so far.

Located in Disney's Polynesian Village ResortCaptain Cook's has a pretty great variety of food options for a quick service location. and they will always have an allergy friendly menu - as will all of the quick service locations. You'll find options such as noodles and vegetables, salads, and even vegan options for waffles and the famous Tonga Toast.

As a mom with three daughters who have all gone through vegan stages (some more permanently than others), I don't think your mom will stress over you not finding anything to eat. I have always had the best luck feeding my kids at Walt Disney World in spite of their specific dietary concerns.

    Happy vacation, Elizabeth!
