    Hi, I am taking a trip to WDW from October 30th - November 5th 2011 and have a few questions. We are staying at Cabins at Fort Wilderness, would you recommend getting the golf cart to get around? Also what is the weather like during those dates? Thanks!

    Hi Dennis!

    If its in the budget, I would highly recommend a golf cart at Ft. Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds. While there are internal shuttles to move within the resort, a cart makes it much easier. With all of the amenities at the Fort, there is quite a distance between locations of activities, bus stops and boat docks. You'll find you'll have less of a wait and easier travel with one!

    Personally, I love the fall at Walt Disney World! The peak summer crowds and heat have tapered off, making for (usually) nice days and more temperate evenings. Most likely, days will call for shorts and lighter clothes, while evenings may call for a heavier shirt or longer pants. I always carry a light sweater or jacket with me, since I tend to get chilled (even in the summer in air conditioned buildings). The Magic Kingdom will be decorated for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and it is a sight to see! Be sure to pick up tickets early if you plan on attending on Halloween Night, as they do tend to sell out!
