Taking 1st trip to WDW in Dec. I want my kids to participate in pin trading. We're on a budget and one of the panelist suggested ebay for pins. I read something about these pins being scrappers and un-tradeable in the parks? Can you shed any light on this?

Hi, Consuelo! My children and I are addicted pin trading. We were even selected to be in Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade by a wonderful Cast Member with whom my kids were pin trading.  It was a wonderful, pixie-dusted perk to the pin trading experiences that we already loved!

We have purchased pins from eBay and have had no problem trading them.  You must make sure that the seller designates them as official theme park pins with the Disney copyright on the back.  If the seller's prices are too low, then it's a case of being too good to be true.

The Official Disney Pin Trading website is THE place to find the information for about this fun extra.  You will be able to find everything you could ever possibly want to know about pin trading there from beginners to advanced traders. You can also purchase pins in the online store or search the thousands of pins to see what you might want to find.  You will also be able to find information about pin trading events and news. I hope you love pin trading as much as we do!  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
