We are taking a trip to WDW (3 days) and a 4-day cruise on the Magic. I have twins that will be a week shy of 2 years old when we sail. Any tips for cruising at this age? How often should we anticipate using the nursery? What should we expect? Thanks moms!

    Ahoy Ashley!
Welcome to the Moms Panel!  My son was just under two on our first sailing, and I have so many wonderful memories of him toddling around the ship, interacting with the characters and enjoying his first Mickey waffles!
You will get to enjoy double the fun on your sailing with your two, and I know you will leave the ship with many magical memories to remember for years to come!  My first tip is to check your Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter, for all your cruise activities especially the toddler themed activities planned by the cruise staff.  Toddler Time, Wake Up with Disney Jr., Little Einstein's Playtime in the Oceaneer Club, and the Playhouse Disney Party are a few of the events you don't want to miss!  Also, pay attention to Open House hours offered in the Oceaneer Club and Lab because during these times each day, any age Guest can experience free play or planned programming offered in these youth spaces as long as they are accompanied by an adult.  Children not potty trained are not allowed in the pools onboard due to U.S. Public Health Regulations, but don't worry because Mickey's Splash Pool provides splashtacular fun for all the little sailors onboard.
When you want to spend time experiencing some of the adult-only activities and amenities, Flounders Reef Nursery is your answer!  I would plan on booking the 10 hours prior to cruising so you can lounge by the Quiet Cove Pool, dine at Palo, the adult-only restaurant, and indulge in a spa treatment at the Vista Spa!  Once onboard, you can add more hours or change your times around (if available) which is what I ended up doing.  A nice feature about the nursery is that there is two-way mirror that you can pop in and out to check on your little ones without them even knowing!
I'm about out of room, Ashley so please write back if you have further questions!
    Have a magical day!
