We are taking our 1st trip to MK in January. We have a 14 year old and a 4 year old. We are staying at Old Key West. Should we do park day, hotel/relaxation day, park day or three park days?

    Hi Janet,

Personally, I love to go all out at the parks and ride from sun up to sun down. However, this might not be the best option for all guests!

First, if you have tickets for all days, you may want to go to the parks all day. Second, in January, it can be cold in Florida and the pools are all outdoor. While they are heated to 82 degrees, this northern girl is not stepping foot into the water unless it is 85 on the outside:) However, try telling this to at 14 ore 4 year old on vacation!

If your young tourists know about the trip, I would ask them what they want to see. I always ask my girls, even after 15 trips to the World with them, what they want to do. This takes the pressure off of trying to see everything and they feel the trip is a success because they got to do what they wanted.

    Have a magical first trip!
    Beth
