    Hi, we are taking our trip may11-17 ,My questions are I wanted to start the parks on Sunday early but check into disney resort is at 3 pm am I allowed to start parks before I check in and how much spending money is suggested for 3 adults two chirldren 8,1

    Hi Tamara,

    I love Disney World in May! It is a great time to tour!

    You absolutely can head straight to the parks on Sunday and start your vacation without checking in! The only need I can see going to the resort first would be if your tickets are part of a package with your room. In this case, head to your resort first and grab your tickets and head on out. 

    As for spending money, really it is a personal choice for families. We generally give our daughters between $25-50 a trip to spend. Anything else is on them. This helps them really think about what they want to buy on vacation.
