Hi Olivia, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am happy to help you with planning your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
Reserving two rooms at a
Value Resort would be the most economical option for your family of nine. Since my family is also too large to fit in one standard hotel room, this is often what we do. Each room at a Value Resort can accommodate up to four guests plus one child under the age of three in a crib. It is also possible to request connecting rooms for your crew. While connecting rooms cannot be guaranteed, in my experience Cast Members will do their best to honor your request. My favorite Value Resort is
Disney's Pop Century Resort. The rooms here have been recently refurbished, and have a fresh, modern decor with lots of cubbies and storage spaces. If you think you might like a bit more space, rooms at
Disney's Moderate Resorts are a little larger. Some even have "5th Sleeper" rooms featuring a Child-Size Pull-Down bed, in addition to two Queen-Size beds. Be sure to keep an eye on the
Special Offers page for any discounts that might be available during the time you would like to visit. If you decide to use a travel agent, I would recommend using a Disney Authorized Vacation Planner Agency.
As you
plan your vacation, please come back to the Moms Panel with any other questions you may have. We are always happy to help.
