We are taking A Taste of Magic Kingdom VIP Tour. Is it customary to tip tour guides after the tour? Thanks

Hi, Michael! Thank you for taking the time to contact the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney calls the Taste of Magic Kingdom Park VIP Tour a "Must-Eat Experience!" This is truly a little slice of heaven for Disney Foodies, and you'll get to savor some iconic Magic Kingdom classics like Dole Whips and Smoked Turkey Legs, as well as some special surprises!

Although I have yet to experience it, I have taken several other tours, including Disney's Keys to the Kingdom and the Yuletide Fantasy Tour, and we have never tipped our tour guides. In fact, it is Walt Disney World's policy that Cast Members in the theme parks cannot accept tips (exceptions to this rule would be servers at Table Service restaurants or the Cast Members at the Harmony Barber Shop and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique) . When I feel I've received exemplary service, I like to send a tweet to Disney using the Twitter handle @WDWToday. Make sure to include the tour guide's name and the hashtag #CastCompliment, and if possible, a photo of the two of you together. Often, Disney will recognize the Cast Member and deliver a certificate with a screenshot of your Tweet. These compliments also get added to the Cast Member's performance record.

Have a great time snacking on your tour, Michael! Make sure to try the Grey Stuff...it's delicious!

Meet the Panelist: Eean, Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania! I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique. It's incredible how many people you can find who love talking about "The Most Magical Place On Earth!" I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
