We're taking our son, 2 1/2 but not potty trained, on the Fantasy this summer. I'm wondering if he will enjoy the nursery, or if it is more geared towards babies and younger toddlers (as it seems). Will he get bored if he's there for 3 hrs at a time?

    Hey Curtis!
Welcome to the Moms Panel! A fantasy awaits you on the newest gem in the Disney fleet!  I hope you are ready for a week filled with magical, pixie dusted moments!
The childcare providers in the nursery make sure the littlest sailors enjoy their time in this bright, interactive facility.  With your son being on the upper end of the age range, he will enjoy crafts, games, movie time and storytime.  There are toys geared for his age and the castmembers will make sure he is engaged in fun, age appropriate activities while he is there.  This will give you the opportunity to enjoy some of the many adult-only spaces and offerings during your sailing.  If you want to stop by to make sure he is having a blast, a two-way window is available right by the check-in.  When my son visited the nursery on our first cruise, he always seemed happy and content when we peeked in.
When you want to spend time as a family, be sure to check your Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter, for Open House opportunities in the Oceaneer Club & Lab.  During these scheduled family times, your little guy can dance on the Magic Playfloor, explore Andy's Room, play the computer in the Explorer Pod or check out the fun in Monster's Academy!  I also think you will be spending lots of time in Nemo's Reef, the water play area next to Mickey's pool!  Squirting water, bubbling jets, and sliding fun will keep your prince busy for hours!
Thanks so much for visiting the Moms Panel, Curtis!  Please keep me posted on any other cruise questions you may have about your voyage this summer!  I'm always happy to help!
    Have a fantastical day!|
