Hi! I am in my 20s and am taking my siblings (10, 13 and 15) on the Dream in Feb to the Bahamas. It will be the 10yo’s first Disney adventure! About the Port Adventure Blue Lagoon Island Dolphin: how much time do we spend with the dolphins? Thanks!

Welcome aboard, Colleen! What an amazing big sister you are! Your three younger siblings are so fortunate to have such a cool big sis like you who wants to take them on a magical cruise with Disney Cruise Line! There is so much for everyone of all ages to do on the Disney Dream, you are all in for one amazing trip, where you'll be making so many memories together!

My daughter and I really enjoyed the Blue Lagoon Island Dolphin Swim last fall. It was truly one of her favorite experiences ever, and I highly recommend it. There is a "swim" and an "encounter" with the dolphins. Since your family members are all old enough, I'd suggest the swim for sure. You'll get more time in the water with the dolphins, one-on-one, and the thrill of being pushed across the water by two dolphins with their noses on your feet! It was amazing! We were in the water for a good half hour to forty-five minutes with the dolphins when we experienced this. Since it was the off season, which it looks like it will be for you too, it was only the two of us and two other guests, so we really had a lot of interaction with those beautiful creatures!

My daughter was so thrilled to dance with them, kiss them, splash with them, and thank them as the retrieved a "gift" for her from the bottom of the lagoon. It was a rock they picked out just for us! Too cute! Plus, if you book the first dolphin swim of the day, you'll have lots of time to explore, play, and relax on Blue Lagoon Island beach after your swim before taking a later water shuttle back to the ship.

Have so much fun planning, Colleen, and please stop back again if you have any other questions before you set sail with your siblings!
