Taking the NYC cruise to Canada in June with elderly mom. At Port Canaveral I could rent a wheelchair that would be delivered to port. Is there any such service available through Disney for New York? Trying not to bring her wheelchair on plane...Thanks!

    Hi again Kay!

I have some great news about renting a wheelchair for your mother!  Disney Cruise Line has set up wheelchair rentals with two separate vendors, Apria and Care Vacations.  You should contact the vendors directly to set up your rental and provide them with your reservation number, sail date, stateroom number, Guest name, contact info and email address.  Apria Healthcare's number is (800) APRIA-88 and Care Vacations is (877) 478-7827.  Once you have reserved the equipment, please let Disney Cruise Line know via an email at dcl.special.request@email.disney.com

I'm sure both of these companies will be able to provide you with the equipment you need as well as the convenience of having it delivered right to the port.  Your mother will be able to navigate her way around the ports and ship in comfort!

Please let me know if you have any other questions about your Canadian voyage on the fabulous Disney Magic!

    Have a wonderful day!
