I am taking a 5 night cruise on the wonder in october with my entire family (all 28 of us). Is there a princess night/dress up night on the cruise?

Welcome aboard, Andrew! Wow, 28 family members all on one cruise vacation! What fun!

There is not a specific princess dress-up night, no, but your five-night cruise will include one Dress Up night, which is when guests wear the fanciest outfits they've packed. You'll see everything from tuxedos and formal gowns to more simple dressier shirts and pants for men and summer-type dresses for the ladies. Little girls do love to take the dress up night opportunity to wear their favorite princess dress and accessories.

Since it sounds like you have a few little princesses, another event I should mention is the Princess Gathering. This happens once or twice during your cruise and will be listed in your Personal Navigator. Four or five of Disney's princesses will gather in the atrium to meet with guests, pose for photos and sign autographs. Once it's your turn, you go from Cinderella, right to Aurora, to Tiana, to Ariel, and to Belle! Of course, which princesses are there varies by cruise, but surely some of your little girl's favorites will be there!

I do recommend you arrive early for this as the line gets very, very long. We like to show up to the atrium an hour before the gathering begins. We'll sit down at the front of the line and write postcards to friends back home to pass the time. Then, before we know it, it's time for the princesses to arrive and we're toward the front of the line. You'll be happy you arrived early when you walk away to see the line going down the hall and other guests having to inch their way along for an hour, when you simply sat in one spot and relaxed for an hour beforehand. It's the way to go, I promise! Watch for the Princess Gathering in your Personal Navigator once you arrive to find out the time and days it is offered on your cruise.

Other character greetings will not have lines like that, but this one is unique. Have fun planning, Andrew!
