We are taking a 6 night cruise out of Galveston in March; our first. We have heard that there are behind the scene tours on the ship. How do you find information about this?

    Howdy Sherrie!
Having a piece of Disney in the great state of Texas is the perfect reason to set sail for your first Caribbean adventure!  I love the Disney Magic, and know you will thoroughly enjoy sailing on this magnificent vessel!
Upon embarking the ship, a walking ship tour usually takes place around 2:00 and 2:30 and is guided by the Cruise Staff.  This is great way to get accustomed to your new home and learn a few DCL tips!
If you would like to learn a little more about how the Disney Magic operates be sure to check your Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter, each day of your vacation.  When I was on the Magic a couple of weeks ago, they showed several "Behind the Scenes" Virtual Tours on the Funnel Vision by the Goofy Pool.  Several of the ship's officers shared some fascinating information about how the Disney Magic runs so efficiently and effectively!
If you would like a taste of the Disney culture, theming and artistry, the Art of the Theme Show Ship Tour is a walking tour that will give you a sneak peek at the ship's amazing design.  It will most likely be offered on your Sea Day so stay tuned to your Personal Navigator for details!
I hope this information helps you with your planning, Sherrie!  As you continue to prepare, please keep me posted on any other questions you may have about your vacation!
    Have a magical day!
