Hi. We are taking a 5 night cruise on the dream in March. We have the 2nd dining seating and wondered how long the shows typically run? Is there time between the show and dinner? I am looking to book BBB for my birthday girl and only 7;45 is available.

    Hi Rachel,

Welcome back to planDisney! We are always thrilled to see our pals.

You are in for a real treat. I happen to think that a 5-night sailing is the perfect Disney Cruise Line vacation. It is long enough to find your way around and settle in, and you can likely find a way to squeeze it into a full life. I know you are going to love it.

Generally, the Broadway-Caliber shows begin at 6 PM and run-time is about an hour. Then, the second seating of Disney's unique Rotational Dining begins at 8 PM. With this in mind, I'm sorry Rachel, but I don't think that the 7:45 PM Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique Reservation will work into your schedule. Of course, times are subject to change. Always check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for the latest information.

Hakuna Matata (it means no worries!) You can always pop over to Guest Services or Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique to check for any cancellations for times that work a little better for you. Something might open up for your perfect Princess.

Also, depending on her age and your comfort level, you could alternatively reserve a Senses Spa & Salon appointment for her. On our most recent sailing, my 13-year old and I did something very unlike us: we booked an appointment for our hair and make-up on Formal Night. It was such a fun experience for us and we were thrilled that I pre-purchased our Photography Package after! We had so many pictures taken. Please keep in mind that, according to their website, "Guests 13 to 17 years of age can have services and treatments under 2 conditions: a parent or guardian must book the services and treatments, and a parent or guardian must accompany them for the duration of the treatment."

Rachel, to really surprise your daughter for her birthday, consider adding a birthday surprise from Disney Cruise Line Onboard Gifts like the Celebrate Today Birthday Decor in your Stateroom. Just imagine her surprise when she opens that heavy metal door for the first time to see those decorations waiting just for her! Priceless.

I hope that is helpful, Rachel. Come back and visit us with any other questions as you cruise towards your unforgettable Disney Cruise Line vacation!

    Adventure is out there,
