    We are taking a 7 night cruise on the Disney Fantasy. What is the attire like for boys ages 8-12 for Semi-Formal dining night? Are dress shorts/khaki shorts with a collared shirt allowed or should they wear pants? Nice sandals or dress shoes? Thanks!

    You have so much to look forward to on your Disney Fantasy sailing including a unique rotational dining experience each evening! With seven nights onboard, you'll be able to enjoy each dining room twice and one three times! The attention to detail and incredible theming makes your dining experience come to life! Another plus is your dining team will rotate with you, and you'll be amazed at how quickly they will learn your family's preferences and will cater to all your culinary needs! On your cruise, you can plan on four cruise casual nights, one pirate themed night (cruise casual is fine too), one semi-formal night and one formal night. My son is 11, and I typically dress him in a nice collared shirt and khakis with dress shoes on semi-formal night. But, I've seen plenty of boys in khaki shorts and a collared shirt as well. My son has always been easy to dress and doesn't complain too much about "handsome" clothes as we call them! If your sailors will be happier in something more casual than I say go for it.
