Taking 3 night cruise on DD in Oct & looking for info re: trick or treating. Do I need to sign my kids up ahead of time? Bring candy bags from home? Where does it take place/how long does it last? Couldn't find many details. Thanks!

    Ahoy, Erin!

Welcome back aboard with another SPOOK-tacular question about your Halloween on the Seas Cruise! This spirited sailing will be here before you know it, so I'm glad you're getting all your questions answered before the big day arrives.

My family enjoyed a BOO-tiful cruise a few yEARs ago and had a ball at Mickey's Mouse-Querade Party. There is no need to sign-up for this festive event that is held in the Grand Lobby Atrium. Treat bags will be left in your stateroom for your Mouseketeers to use to collect their delicious treats during the 30-minute event. On our particular sailing, two parties were offered so there was plenty of time to visit all the Cruise Staff members passing out candy, play a few games and get some unique photos with the Disney Characters in their adorable Halloween Costumes. I have to say these pictures are some of my absolute favorites from all of our past sailings. We all dressed up for the fun so it really made them extra-special!

Erin, I did bring a couple of zip lock bags to bring our treats home in and carried them off in our carry-on bags so the chocolatey treats did not melt. They also made great snacks as we traveled home.

Thank you for allowing us to assist you with your cruise plans! We hope to hEAR from you again real soon.
