Hello! We are taking my nieces to Disney World for their first time in October. They're Florida residents, but we are not. Can I purchase their tickets, and how do I prove their residency? Or should the parents? Do they physical proof upon entering?

    Hay-there, Kathryn!

I hope you’ve prepared a Thank-You Speech because you are sure to win the favorite relative award! Giving the gift of magic is unlike anything else, and it doesn’t get better than spending time at Walt Disney World Resort with family. Seeing the magic through your nieces’ eyes will be so very special. What a spectacular time you all will have as you make all the magical memories together!

Kathryn, to take advantage of being close neighbors with Mickey Mouse, I would recommend the Florida resident parents purchase theme park tickets for Florida residents for their Mouseketeers for a great rate. In addition, they would be able to provide proof of residency online by adding their license during the purchasing process, so you will have no problem when you go to the Will Call windows (located at the entrance of every park) to pick up their tickets. Also, if the Mouseketeers have MagicBands from previous trips, there is no need to stop and pick up the tickets, as their MagicBands will act as their tickets.

Before purchasing the tickets, I recommend you check the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar because Guests need to have both Disney Park Pass reservations and tickets to enter the theme parks. Once you all have purchased your tickets, do be sure to make your Disney Park Pass reservations as soon as possible, as these are subject to availability.

You're sure to Fall in love while visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth in October. From the Mickey Mouse pumpkin decorations to the dreadfully delicious snacks, you won't be-leaf how a-maizing it all truly is!

We can’t wait to welcome you all to the magic, Kathryn. Have an enchanting time!
