We will be taking our 20 month old son with us on a disney cruise in April. He no longer eats baby food. We planned a dinner at Palo one night and reserved time in the nursery for him. Will they feed him dinner or do we need to before we drop him off?

Welcome aboard, Abigail! What a great time you're going to have! Cruising with Disney when you have little ones ensures that you will get lots of family time, but also some well-deserved adult-time, since the Disney Youth Clubs are such great places for the kids to play.

I'm glad to hear you already reserved your Palo dinner and nursery time, as both do fill up quickly. While your son is in the nursery, the counselors there are happy to help feed him at meal times. Meals are not provided, however apple juice, water and crackers are available as snacks. If you would like your son to eat a larger meal, Disney asks that you bring something for your son, which you can grab from one of the dining spots onboard. Options allowed in the nursery are fruit, sandwiches (not with hot meat, only cold cuts), cereal or dry snack-type food. No nuts or nut products are allowed in the nursery. There is not refrigeration available, so please do not bring a slice of pizza or anything like that. Once you're onboard feel free to stop by the nursery prior to your son's reservation, and ask about any specific foods that you're thinking of bringing in, just to ensure that is okay.

Meanwhile, I hope you and your husband enjoy your night alone at Palo. Be sure to have a chocolate souffle for me! Have a wonderful cruise, Abigail, and let me know if you have any further questions!
