We are taking our 11month old son to Disney in 2 weeks! Is it true I can just hold him on rides like Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo, Peter Pan, etc.?

    Hi Tiffany,

You are correct that there are many rides on which you can hold your child. For the rides with no height restriction, babies and toddlers can ride on your lap. In many cases, the baby would not be able to see anything unless her were elevated a bit.

I have very fond memories of taking my daughters to WDW when they were babies and having them on my lap during all the rides you mentioned, plus Small World, the Jungle Cruise, and many others.

The one attraction I know of where lap-riding is NOT allowed is the Tomorrowland Speedway. For this attraction, all riders must be in their own seat.

Have a great trip to WDW!
