We are taking our 19 month old on her first Disney trip and are taking advantage of the park hopper passes. We plan on bringing in a cooler. Are coolers permitted in the Animal Kingdom as well as the other parks? :-)

Hi, Hope! Yes, you can bring coolers into the parks if they meet certain requirements.  According to the Theme Parks: Frequently Asked Questions webpage, you cannot bring wheeled coolers into the parks.  Cooler without wheels must be 24" (61 cm) long x 15" (38 cm) wide x 18" (46 cm) high or smaller. (Coolers required for medication may be stored in a locker or at Guest Relations.)  You cannot bring in alcoholic beverages or glass containers (excluding baby food jars and perfume bottles).  Animal Kingdom has some additional restrictions.  Balloons, straws, and drink lids are not permitted there for the safety of the wildlife.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
