Ahoy, Karen!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are happy to assist you again with your cruise plans.
I just returned from a dreamy voyage aboard the beautiful Disney Dream. The
inside staterooms are so unique on this ship (and the Disney Fantasy) because of all the unexpected surprises you'll see appear when your Magical Porthole comes to life right before your eyes. Your little sailor will adore it!
Your stateroom host/hostess will be glad to set up the crib each evening, and you'll want to communicate with him or her if you'll also need it up during the day for nap time. When my son was younger, we kept our crib up for the entire day so it was ready to go whenever he needed it. In the inside rooms, the two options you'll have is either at the foot of the bed or next to the sofa where the coffee table sits. We had our stateroom host remove our table from the room to give us more space for the crib. The cribs on board are Pack n' Plays, so they don't take up as much space as a full-size crib.
I think you'll find Disney Cruise Line make
traveling with little ones very easy, Karen. Be sure to familiarize yourself with what is offered aboard for babies and toddlers to help save precious luggage space. And don't forget to secure
"it's a small world" nursery! reservations. They can be made online after your Online Check-in opens up or once on board. They are first-come, first-served, and there is a nominal, hourly fee for the nursery services.
Thank you for continuing to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Please keep us posted with your additional questions.
Have a magical day!
Nancy
