We're taking our mom to WDW for her 60th birthday. It's the first time we've been to Disney World and we'll have no kiddos with us. Do you have any must-see spots or places that have fun food/bev. Any special spots would be appreciated!

Hey there, Klanci! What a celebration for your mom's milestone birthday! I hope my kids are taking notes.

Walt Disney World can be a magical place for an adults-only getaway - there's so much to do without worrying about height restrictions or nap times. It's a great time to check out some of the special events and tours that are available, some of which are open only to adults. I highly recommend the Keys to the Kingdom tour of the Magic Kingdom, where you'll have access to the secret world beneath the theme park. It's so cool.

The list of fun food places goes on forever, but topping my list of locations is Trader Sam's Grog Grotto at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. With awesome theming, fun drinks, and yummy bites, you'll want to go early to get into this popular location. I've also got a soft spot in my heart for Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar located at Disney Springs. If Mom is an Indiana Jones fan, she might love a peek at this themed bar.

While all of the theme parks offer fun for adults, definitely plan to spend a day at EPCOT. It's almost like traveling the world in a day, as you take in the special offerings from each country - both in the food and beverage and the shopping departments. You'll also find country-specific entertainment to add to your festive celebration!

I hope you have an awesome time on your first trip, and I wish your mom a very happy birthday! Stop at Guest Services to snag her birthday button - and your first-time button, too!
