Ahoy Tammy!
I'm so excited to hear you are sharing the magic of Disney Cruise Line with your parents! My parents and in-laws have both cruised with our family so I can understand wanting to make sure your entire crew has a fun-filled experience with Captain Mickey!
On Castaway Cay, I think you will find plenty of shade for them to relax under the tropical palm trees and large umbrellas. If they are active, I definitely suggest a family
bike ride because of the filtered sun along the flat terrain. It is only about a mile and a half long so it's a leisurely journey with spectacular views of Disney Cruise Line's private oasis! Another option is the
Glass Bottom Boat Scenic Voyage. It's only about an hour long and will give them a look at some of the gorgeous marine life without having to worry about getting too much sun.
In Nassau, I would consider the
Nassau Fort and Junkanoo Discovery or the
Graycliff Chocolatier-The Art of Chocolate Making and Factory Tour. Both of these are great for families!
I hope my suggestions will help in your planning, Tammy! Please stop back by with any other questions you may have before your March voyage!
Have a magical day,
Nancy
