    Taking 18 mo old for first time for quick day trip while hubby is in area on business. Best park and most excitement in a day for that age? I'll have my 11 yr old daughter as well, but she is totally all about the little one's excitement!

    Hi Veronica!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  As a mom of four children including a set of twin boys, I recommend Magic Kingdom Park for both your little one and 11-year-old daughter. We took our twins to Walt Disney World Resort for the first time when they were 18-months-old as well and found they were able to experience more attractions at the iconic park. I also highly recommend experiencing Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and Wishes nighttime spectacular. 

    Be sure to pick up a Times Guide and Park Map when entering Magic Kingdom Park for easier park touring. I suggest starting your day in Fantasyland and then touring the park by "lands." This strategy has always helped us to maximize our time and decrease the amount of unnecessary walking.
