Ahoy there and welcome home, Pam!
It is great to see you again! We always appreciate it when Guests return with new questions.
You must be so excited about your
Disney Vacation Club Cruise. I haven't been on one yet, but I hear they are full of magic! A ship full of
Disney Vacation Club Members sounds like a wonderful time at sea. We checked with our friends at Disney Cruise Line about the themed nights for your cruise and heard some interesting news! Because this cruise is exclusive to Disney Vacation Club Members, the theme nights and other events on board are planned by the Disney Vacation Club team, rather than Disney Cruise Line. It looks like your cruise will be filled with surprises and pixie dust that Disney Cruise Line isn't able to share at the moment. So, please plan to check back with us, or our
planDisney Disney Vacation Club specialists, closer to your sail date and we will try to get the information for you at that time, without spoiling too much of the fun!
Since you are contemplating your
packing list, I was in Barcelona last May and the weather was gorgeous, but plan to wear layers because it can get chilly in the morning and evening, especially on the ship. I suggest bringing a sweater or wrap if you plan to visit any religious sites on your Port Adventures during your cruise since many sites require your shoulders to be covered.
Pam, I hope you are planning to spend some time in
Barcelona before your cruise. It is one of my favorite cities in the world! You can peruse the
Port Adventures for Barcelona to get some ideas of the best ways to spend your time exploring the city and surrounding areas. It is a spectacular place to visit!
I hope you will visit us again, Pam; hopefully, we can help you finish your planning! Now, I'm going to spend the rest of my day thinking about Spanish food and Gaudi architecture!
Wishing you many magical moments,
Shannon
