We have been taking our kids to WDW since they were toddlers. They are now 12&14.I wanted to surprise them for Christmas with a behind the scenes tour. I was so disappointed to see that they have to be 16. Is there anyway around that? Thank you!

    Hi Cheryl,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am already looking forward to taking my kids on Park Tours when they are older. Some of the Behind the Scenes tours actually allow Guests under the age of 16. For example, Guests as young as 12 years of age may attend the Walt Disney: Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour. The Know Before You Go section states, "This tour is more suited for adults, though Guests as young as 12 years of age may attend. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult." I would suggest calling (407) WDW-TOUR and speaking with a Cast Member about other Behind the Scenes tours you were interested in making reservations for.

Please let me know if I can help answer any other questions before your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a magical day!
