Taking my kids to WDW March 15-23 during spring break. What kind of weather can I expect? Never been there in spring (usually go June). Kids love the water parks but I hesitate to pay extra for the tickets if its going to be cold or raining the whole time

    Hi Dionne,

According to weather.com, the average high for mid-March at Walt Disney World is 78 degrees, with relatively little average precipitation. That's perfect for the water parks in my book.

However, we all know despite the best predictions, weather is, well, unpredictable. You might actually experience sunny highs in the 80s or wet chills in the 60s. Because of this, my suggestion is to wait until you arrive in Orlando to decide about whether to purchase water park tickets. Your basic or Park Hopper theme park ticket can be upgraded to a Water Park Fun & More ticket at any point during your stay at Walt Disney World. You can do this at any theme park guest relations office or ticket window. You could also purchase a single-day admission to the water parks. By waiting to buy your water park ticket, you'll be able to get a real-time view of the weather situation and make the decision that seems most appropriate for your needs.

Good luck with your planning and please let us know if you have additional questions.
