    Taking the kids to WDW in 9 days, EEK! so excited! My local disney store is out of Elsa costumes, as is the disneystore.com. Does WDW sell Elsa & Anna costumes in any of the stores? are they different from the ones sold in the Disney Stores? Price?

    Some of the Moms Panelists have been having trouble trying to track down Frozen costumes for our own kids. They are VERY popular. I think Disney may have been caught a bit by surprise on just how much demand there would be for Frozen merchandise.

    To answer your question, yes, there SHOULD be Anna and Else costumes for sale at Walt Disney World, but just like everywhere else, they're having problems keeping them in stock. When replacements do appear, they're snapped up almost immediately. So, you may get lucky at WDW, but unfortunately there's really no way to predict where or when more costumes will be available.

    Typically the in-park costumes are a bit better quality than the ones sold in the Disney Stores. The fabric may be heavier and the stitching more detailed. A typical price for a princess dress sold in the parks is about $65. While this can change, it's been steady for over a year. You can get a good sense of the overall princess dress situation at WDW if you search for an article called "Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Princess Dresses at Disney World" on the independent website blog.touringplans.com.

    I'll keep my fingers crossed that you find some Anna & Elsa costumes during your trip!
