We are taking my kids on their first Disney adventure in December. I can't wait, haven't told them yet. :-) However, I need to know which character meals are a must. The boys will be 7, 5 and 1.5 when we travel. Also how can I surprise them about Disney

    Hi Karla!

There are some great character meals that your boys will enjoy.  My first pick would be Chef Mickey's.  It is located at the Contemporary Resort.  The characters you will meet here include Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto.  Donald's Safari Breakfast at Animal Kingdom is another great experience.  The characters you will dine with here include Donald, Daisey, Mickey and Goofy.  Disney Junior Play and Dine at Hollywood and Vine is located at Hollywood Studios.  The characters at this meal include Handy Manny, June, Leo and Special Agent Oso.  The Crystal Palace is located at the Magic Kingdom.  The characters at this restaurant are from the Hundred Acre Wood.  You will mee Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore.

Suprising your kids is a great idea!  We suprised our children on one of our visits to Disney as well.  We had an early morning flight so that morning when we woke them up they thought they were getting up for school only to discover Disney character t'shirts (that I had purchased at the Disney store) on their beds. That is when we told them that they weren't going to school we were off to Florida to have a Disney vacation.  They were so excited!

    Have a magical vacation!
