Hi I am taking my 2 kids d11 and s5 dec 3-12 stayed at POR royal guest rm b4 was thinking about AOA Nemo rm this time. It's 2nd trip we liked the POR but AOA is so new. Just don't know how much we will be in rm if its worth the xta money. thank u

Hi, Danielle!  I think the big question you need to answer is exactly the one you ask.  How much time will you spend in the room?

The family suites at the Art of Animation resort are actually a great way to save some money.  With a small refrigerator and a microwave oven, you'll be able to save a bit on things like breakfast and snacks.  I like to get a hot breakfast out on the table while the kids are showering, then I hop in the shower myself while they enjoy breakfast.  With two full bathrooms, the kids can brush their hair and teeth in one bathroom when they're finished eating while I finish getting ready in the other bathroom.

If you are, however, the kind of family that likes to get to the parks at rope drop and just grab a quick bite when everyone is hungry, it may not be of much value to have the extra kitchenette amenity.  I know families that rarely see the inside of their resort room, using it only to sleep in and not much else.

Figure out how much time you think you'll be in the room, and if you believe the extra space and amenities are worth it.  That should help you decide whether you should go to Art of Animation or return to Port Orleans Riverside.

Have a wonderful time planning, and thank you so much for your question!
