    We are taking my grandson to WDW for the first time to celebrate his birthday this November. We have a reservaton at Chef Mickey's for brunch. Someone told us that the characters do not appear at brunch and it costs 2 dining credits. Any truth to this?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I always love hearing from a fellow Missourian!

    I can only imagine how excited you must be to be planning your grandson's very first visit to Walt Disney World!  I think you've made a fantastic meal choice with Chef Mickey's, and I'm so glad to hear you already have your reservation made for November.  I'm also very happy to say that the rumors you've heard are not true.  Chef Mickey and his pals will be appearing at brunch, just as they do at breakfast and dinner, and if you're using the Disney Dining Plan it will be one table-service entitlement (not two).  You can read more about this fun, new meal option here on the Disney Parks Blog's recent post.
