Hi Theresa!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You have some
very lucky granddaughters! I just noticed that you brought them to the ‘World on a very similar vacation a few yEARs ago!
I’m so glad you were able to reserve your trip during the free dining promotion! Any little bit helps with the budget. I feel like the
Disney Dining Plan is an excellent way to prepay for most of your dining experiences while visiting Walt Disney World, and once again, contributes to the budget. When you add
the dining plan to your hotel reservation, each person staying in the room receives the allotted credits for the length of your stay. Unfortunately, this means that you will have
a dining plan for everyone in the room and cannot exclude your daughter.
My family are grazers, and the littles eat like birds, so when we get the dining plan, we usually choose the
Quick-Service Dining Plan. It allows us to grab small meals on the go, and we don’t feel overwhelmed by the amount of food. We take advantage of the
My Disney Experience mobile app to pre-order our food while we wait in line at an attraction. The picky eaters have time to decide what they want to eat, and our time in the Parks is much more efficient (which speaks to the soul of this Disney-planning mama).
Theresa, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. I wish you and your family
a grand adventure!
Rayna
