We will be taking my granddaughters ages 2 & 3 to Disney World in December. I've been several times, but never with toddlers! We have reservations for some character dining, but unsure of what it will cost for them to eat....help?

    Hello Tracy,

I am so excited for you and the memories your are about to make on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World with your two little princesses.

Guests, under the age of 3 years old, are able to dine from their grandparent's plates at table service restaurants, quick service restaurants and buffets, such as Chef Mickey's without being charged. However, if your 2 year old is not keen on your food selection, grandparents are able to order off the menu and pay for a meal for their child, as an option. Your older princess, who is already 3, is considered a Child and will need to order of the menu, another option is the two girls can share a meal if they so like.

Budgeting for meals, at Walt Disney World, can be a little tricky. While the Walt Disney World website does provide Guests with a broad range of prices, I prefer allears.net, which goes into a more detailed menu pricing. Head over to allears.net and in their search engine, type in the restaurant of interest, for example Chef Mickey's. Select the breakfast menu and you will see what is offered on the menu along with price ranges (Adult price range: $33.01 - $40.46; Child ages 3-9: $18.10 - $21.29) Prices vary and are adjusted according to regular and peak season, along with weekdays and weekends. Keep in mind tax and gratuity are not included in these price estimations. Child and Adult prices are included and can help give you a better idea of what to expect.

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may you stay be filled with many magical and memorable moments.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
