I am taking my granddaughter for her first visit to Disney and purchased 4 day passes with the park hopper. I just noticed that Animal Kingdom has block out dates when we will be there June 1-5. Does that mean that we have to purchase additional tickets?

    Hi Deborah,

Hooray for a visit to Walt Disney World with your granddaughter! What a magical experience for you!

If you purchased a standard four day ticket with Park Hopper option, you should not have any blackout dates. This ticket is available for use at all four parks without restrictions including multiple parks in one day.

If you purchased a four day Florida resident ticket, you will have blackout options including the dates your granddaughter is visiting. If this is the case, you will need to purchase another ticket for all of the parks.

Your best bet is to call Disney at 407-939-7523 and ask them to clarify. They can also advise you of options.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
