Ahoy there, Peter! Welcome, and thank you so much for your question.
I'm so excited that you've chosen
Disney Cruise Line to enjoy a WONDERful vacation with your granddaughter! I have three grandchildren that I am hoping to sail with very soon, and I can only imagine how many incredible memories you're creating with your own little princess.
Peter, before you embarked on your
Disney Wonder high seas adventure, you would have had to complete the
Disney Cruise Line Authorization for Minor to Travel Without a Parent or Legal Guardian form, and yes, this form does need to be notarized. You'll see a spot right at the bottom of the form for a notary public to complete with their credentials. A parent needs to sign the form, the form is then notarized, and when you travel to the port, the adult with whom the child is traveling will present the form when they check in.
Peter, I hope your trip has been so much fun for your granddaughter, and that while she's been enjoying some of the
Youth Club activities, you've had time to soak up some relaxation for yourself.
Anna
