I will be taking my first-ever cruise on the Disney Wish on June 16, 2025. Is there a way to tour the bridge or watch the operations of the ship? A behind the scenes tour of sorts. I would find that very interesting!

Hello there, Larry! Welcome back to planDisney! It's great to have you here again.

I'm so happy to hear that you are looking forward to your time aboard the Disney Wish. The ship is extraordinary and filled to the brim with delightful details. I understand the interest in learning about the operations of the ship, as it fascinates me too!

While Disney Cruise Line doesn't currently offer a tour of the bridge, I do have some suggestions that I think will be of interest to you. I recommend that you check the Daily Activity Schedule within the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app on the afternoon you embark on your cruise. Look for any tours listed. There might be a general walking tour for all ages, but my favorite is the "Art of the Theme Show" tour, designated for guests ages 18 and up. This tour provides plenty of information about the theming, artwork, and design of the ship, led by a knowledgeable Crew Member. I enjoy these so much that sometimes I go on more than one if they are offered multiple times during the sailing. In my experience, these are typically on the schedule for the first day or two of the cruise. I encourage you to take the tour!

While you are in your stateroom, see what is available on your television. I have watched interesting programs about the ship's operations from the comfort of my stateroom. It's definitely worth taking a look at what content they have for you to enjoy. You can even order some complimentary room service while watching.

You might also notice an event offered onboard where the ship's officers mingle and speak with guests. If you have any questions, this could be a great chance to strike up a conversation and find out more about the Disney Wish.

Lastly, I recommend that you hop on Disney+ and watch Making the Disney Wish: Disney's Newest Cruise Ship. This documentary was put together by National Geographic and has some fascinating interviews with Imagineers who worked tirelessly to create the Disney Wish. If you'd prefer to have some of the ship's elements be a surprise to you, consider watching this documentary after returning home from your cruise.

Larry, I hope some of those ideas sound interesting to you! I'm wishing you a most fabulous sailing filled with great times and happy memories. Please return to planDisney if you have additional questions. We'll be here for you.

    Bon Voyage,

    Adrianna
