    Hello we are taking our first trip to wdw in april we have the dinning plan in our package and i know that you recomend to make reservations prior to your visit wich ihave but are we able to eat at the restaurants that we might see without reservations

    Hi, Erica!  I am also one of those people that recommends advanced dining reservations before you get down to Walt Disney World - especially if there is a dining experience you absolutely don't want to miss.  But, at any time, you can just walk up to the podium at any restaurant and inquire about the availability of a table.  We've been very fortunate in the past in getting seated at restaurants like the Crystal Palace and the Garden Grill.  Other restaurants that we have had a much harder time just walking up to are Chef Mickey's and Le Cellier. 

    It's going to depend a lot on how busy the theme parks are and the times you want to eat, but don't feel like you can't at least try.  You might be pleasantly surprised in finding out that a restaurant you want to try but didn't book will have an opening!
