We are taking our first trip and have no clue where to begin. We have 5 kids going, ages 13, 9,8,6,5, what character meals would be best. There are 2 girls and 3 boys. Any help with planning would be appreciated.

Welcome to the Mom's Panel, Susan! Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World Vacation!  It is such a pleasure to assist you with your Disney Vacation planning questions. As a mom of four children which includes one daughter and three sons, I would recommend Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort featuring the "Fab 5" or 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast at Disney's Polynesian Resort which features Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto. Another Character Dining Experience that is a family favorite is Donald's Dining Safari Breakfast or Lunch at Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.
I would also recommend booking an Advanced Dining Reservation at T-REX Café or Rainforest Café located in Downtown Disney for a fun, non-Character Dining Experience. Both of these popular dining locations feature life-size animatronic animals in a themed setting. Rainforest Café has a second location in Disney's Animal Kingdom Park.  Guests may begin making Advanced Dining Reservations for table-service meals 180 days in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE or by going online here. I hope this information helps!  Please feel free to write me back with any additional questions. I would love to assist you in planning a Magical first Walt DIsney World Vacation, Susan!
    Happy Planning,
