    We are taking our first trip as a family with our 4 year old daughter to Disney in January! I'm torn between staying at Coronado Springs and the Little Mermaid room at AOA. Do you have a suggestion to which one would be a great fit for us?

    Welcome back to the Mom's Panel, Shauna!  How exciting that you will be taking your first family trip to Walt DIsney World in January!  I honestly love both Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort!  I have stayed at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort on several vacations and most recently last January. I love the Southwest theming, festive Pepper Market (quick-service dining location), and recreational activities that are offered at this Disney Moderate Resort. I had the pleasure of getting a firsthand tour of Disney's Art of Animation Resort in April and loved the attention to detail at every turn and The Big Blue Pool. I would not hesitate to stay at either of these Disney Resorts in the future. With that being said, I would most likely lean towards staying in a Little Mermaid Standard Room at Disney's Art of Animation Resort with a little girl. I think she would enjoy the immersive storybook theming and giant icons that are featured throughout the resort.
