I am taking my first trip to Disney World in May. Due to chemo treatments I am wearing a wig and am concerned about having it blow off when on a rollercoaster ride. Are there any rides that do not allow wigs or other head covering?

    Hi Marcy,

I understand your concern. There are no notifications about or prohibitions against wigs on any of the WDW ride attractions. There are, however, several rides where guests are asked to remove their hats. These include Expedition Everest (Animal Kingdom), Primeval Whirl (AK), Rock n' Roller Coaster (Disney's Hollywood Studios), Tower of Terror (DHS), Space Mountain (Magic Kingdom), Big Thunder Mountain (MK), Splash Mountain (MK), Mission Space (Epcot), and Test Track (Epcot). Additionally, you can expect to spin around and get VERY wet on the Animal Kingdom's Kali River Rapids.

Only you will know that you are wearing a wig, and only you can judge how secure it is. But the rides listed above are the main places where you might want to exercise caution.

Best of luck with your recovery. I hope your visit to Walt Disney World brings you a pleasant respite from your struggles.
