Taking our first trip to Disney with 2 kids. Our flight arrives at 1:00 pm on Sun. We have dinner reservations at CInerella's Castle at 4:05 pm, are staying at Saratoga and rented a car. Will we make it? Don't want to miss dinner. Any suggestions?

Hi, Rachel!  My plan of attack for you, assuming you are picking up your rental car at the airport and there are two adults traveling, would be to have one of you go to baggage claim to wait for your luggage, and the other one heads to the rental car counter to grab your car.  You should both be wrapped up at about the same time, and the driver can spin around to pick up the baggage handler so you can head to the parks (depending on the ages of your children, you might want them with the parent picking up luggage so they can help; or if they are quite young, send them with the driver to pick up the car).

It takes about a half an hour to get from the airport to the Walt Disney World resort area, but I always allow an hour, so you are probably looking at arriving to the hotel right around 1:30.  Head straight to check in, and if your room is ready, you probably have just enough time to spare to go drop your bags off at your room before heading into the Magic Kingdom.

You may want to consider using Walt Disney World transportation.  If you see that you have a little bit of time to spare to wait for a bus, the bus takes you directly to the Magic Kingdom without having to worry about parking.  But even taking your own car, you should have time to get to Cinderella's Royal Table in time for your reservation!

    Have a great vacation!
