We are taking our first family vacation to WDW july 5-11, with seven day passes....traveling with children (6,6,9) what parks should we hit on what days to get the most of out of our trip? planning on aleast two days at each magic kingdom and epcot.

    Hi Amanda!

Congrats on your first family vacation to Walt Disney World!

With seven-day passes, you will be able to go to each of the parks, which is wonderful!

What I recommend is the following:

July 5: This day will be extremely busy since it is the day after Independence Day. I recommend Epcot for this day because Epcot is the largest park and can handle large crowds well.

July 6: Magic Kingdom: even though the parks will still be crowded, you will want to visit Magic Kingdom early in your trip so the kids can experience this early in the vacation.

July 7: Hollywood Studios: This will allow you to visit a different park on each day, during the first three days of your trip.

July 8: Crowds are usually lighter on a Sunday, so choose this day to visit Magic Kingdom.

    July 9: Visit Epcot again.

July 10: Reserve your last day of your vacation for "The Best Of Day," which my family does every vacation. Our "Best of day" is a compilation of all of our favorite activities we experienced throughout our vacation. You will probably discover that events at the Magic Kingdom make the top of everyone's list.

July 11: Since this is your departure day, you may only have half a day in the parks, so I recommend going to Animal Kingdom early, since the animals are more active in the early morning hours. Also, you can tour Animal Kindgdom in only half a day and this park closes earlier than others.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything else at all!

    Magically,
    Stacy
