Hi we are taking our first disney cruise October 4, 2015 on magic 5 night western carribean. I wanted to know at Castaway Cay what are the amenities that are included with our cruise purchase?

    Ahoy, Susan!

One of my favorite places on Earth is Disney Cruise Line's private island, Castaway Cay. It is truly an island paradise. From the white sandy beaches to the lush tropical nature trail, this island has it all!

And, best of all, you can go to Castaway Cay for the day and not spend ANY extra money. The Castaway Family beach and the adult-only Serenity Bay have plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas for everyone, at no cost. You might need to walk down the family beach a bit to find a chair, but rest assured, there are enough for everyone.

Lunch at Cookies, Cookies, Too, and Serenity Bay BBQ is also included. These buffets are open for a limited time while the ship is docked, so be sure to check your Daily Navigator for the times you can eat. There are also self-serve soda stations and ice cream stations. If you decide to partake in a specialty beverage from one of the island bars, it can be charged to your stateroom.

Things that do have a fee include Castaway Cay Port Excursions, bicycle rentals, float rentals, snorkel equipment rentals, specialty beverages, and souvenirs.

I hope you enjoy your day in Disney Paradise! Please let me know if you have other questions as you are planning your voyage!

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
